Seeking New Members for the LSLS Steering Committee

Have you ever wondered what it takes to organize a library conference? Are you interested in joining a new regional library committee? Do you want to work with a fun group of library people? Well good news! The Lake Superior Library Symposium Steering Committee is seeking new members!

The LSLS Steering Committee plans, organizes, and executes both the LSLS Summer Symposium and the Mid-Winter Unsymposium, as well as library social events throughout the year. Most of our monthly meetings are online, so committee members do not need to be located in the Twin Ports. Committee members have included librarians, library assistants, library students, and other library-affiliated professionals.

We are currently seeking new committee members to start in the Fall of 2020. Please send questions and statements of interest to saue@d.umn.edu by October 1st. We are happy to provide more information about committee responsibilities and time commitment upon request.

More information about the Lake Superior Libraries Symposium can be found on our website: https://lakesuperiorlibrariessymposium.com/. Meet the current LSLS Steering Committee here: https://lakesuperiorlibrariessymposium.com/about/steering-committee/.
