Call for Proposals Closed and Updates!

Thanks to all who submitted their ideas for presentations for the 2015 Symposium.  The selection committee had a blast reading through a descriptions of programs, histories, collaborations, and projects last Friday. Armed with a rubric, spreadsheets, and post-it notes, the group bantered, advocated and share feelings and reasoning.  Our decisions were tough to make but ultimately we made them, and we are now extending invitations for 17 presentations and some lightning rounds. You will be hearing from us very soon!

Additionally, the team is building the conference schedule this week! It’s a fun task. We have to pack in a Thursday afternoon workshop with our Keynote Char Booth and social mixer that evening featuring the return of Librarian Trivia.  Then we have our full Friday with a keynote speaker, 4 sessions of presentations, a lightning round of mini-presentations, not to mention a deluxe Taco Bar!  All the details out by the first week of April!
