#LSLS22 Keynote speaker: Nisha Mody

Our tenth annual Lake Superior Libraries Symposium will be held virtually on Friday, June 10, 2022. This year’s theme is “Thrive,” and our keynote speaker will be Nisha Mody.

Nisha Mody is a Feminist Healing Coach, Writer, and Librarian. Most recently, she was Associate Director of the Pacific Southwest Region for NNLM, previous a Health & Life Sciences Librarian at UCLA. Before that, Nisha worked as a speech therapist and consultant. Throughout her work, Nisha has consistently valued connection, compassion, curiosity, humility, vulnerability, unlearning, and liberation, all of which led her to becoming a healing coach with a trauma-informed lens. Nisha coaches people individually and in groups, and you can find out more about her at www.nishaland.com and on Instagram @healinghypegirl.
